Terms of Service: Story Submissions to Nicki Baber / Make You Scream

Effective Date: July 26, 2025

By submitting a story to Nicki Baber, Make You Scream, The Banshee Society, or any affiliated platforms, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before submitting.

1. Grant of Rights

By submitting your story, you grant Nicki Baber and all affiliated properties-including but not limited to Make You Scream, The Banshee Society, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, podcasts, and digital/deliverable content—a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable license to:

• Use, adapt, edit, dramatize, publish, distribute, and display your story across any platform or format.
• Monetize content that includes your story through ads, merchandise, paywalled offerings, digital products, or brand partnerships.
• Create derivative works, including but not limited to fictional retellings, short films, podcast episodes, or TikTok storytimes.

2. Submission is Final

All story submissions are final and cannot be withdrawn after submission.

Once your story is submitted, you waive the right to request its removal, even if it has not yet been published or featured.

This is to protect the creative process and ongoing content planning, especially across multi-platform releases and serialized formats.

3. Your Representations

By submitting a story, you affirm that:

• You are the original creator of the story or have full legal permission from the original source to submit it.
• The story does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property, privacy rights, or personal safety.
• The story contains no private or sensitive personal information (e.g., full names, addresses) about others without their explicit permission.
• You are 18 years or older, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian (see Section 5).

4. Style, Interpretation & Credit

You understand that:

• Your story may be edited for clarity, pacing, tone, or dramatic effect.
• Your story may be combined with other submissions, retold in first person, or integrated with commentary and narrative devices.
• We may choose to credit you using your first name, username, or general location unless you request anonymity.
• You may request anonymity at the time of submission, but this must be clearly indicated up front.

5. For Submitters Under Age 18

If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to submit your story.

By checking the box during submission, you confirm that:

• You are either 18+ or
• You have obtained and secured parental or guardian consent to share the story under these terms.

We reserve the right to request proof of consent if necessary.

6. No Guarantee of Use

Story submission does not guarantee that your story will be featured. We reserve the right to decide what stories are used, and where or how they are shared.

7. Disclaimer

All submitted stories are treated as entertainment and storytelling content. While we honor real experiences, we do not verify the factual accuracy of submissions.

We are not liable for emotional responses, belief shifts, or reactions resulting from the use of your story.

8. Changes to This Agreement

These Terms may be updated or modified at any time. Continued use of our submission form after any changes constitutes agreement to the revised terms. We're honored to be the keeper of your story.

Once it's shared with us... it becomes part of The Banshee Society's haunted archive.
